Suzy and Tristan’s nuptials were a quintessentially English summer affair, at the beautiful Birtsmorton Court in Worcestershire last July. Suzy wanted to capture the feel of the English countryside to showcase its beauty to her American beau and their guests traveling from across the pond.
Garden roses and herbs felt like the perfect fit, alongside many other seasonal blooms and lots of lush greenery. We chose Romantic Antique roses, which were a dreamy match for the bridesmaids’ dresses, alongside heavenly David Austin favourite, Juliette.
Suzy wanted a wild and natural undone look for table centres in the marquee, which is right up my street. I used our rustic metal urns, which worked a treat by allowing the flowers and foliage to tumble out and give the tables that natural countryside feel.
We decorated a beautiful wrought iron gate as the backdrop to the outdoor ceremony, adorned the marquee chandeliers with trailing foliage and added the showstopping roses to pimp up the simply iced cake. I loved working with this lovely couple at such a beautiful venue. Obviously I see a lot of venues in my job and Birtsmorton Court is by far one of the most beautiful! Testimonial from Suzy & Tristan: “Thank you so much again for the beautiful flowers, they were totally perfect. We absolutely loved everything about them. You have such a talent for making them work perfectly with the rest of the wedding and style of the venue – we were blown away.”
