Monday moodboard | Pale & interesting

Grey is my favourite colour for fashion and interiors at the moment, and it seems to be a popular choice among couples for weddings too. Several of our 2014 Bloom brides have chosen grey for their maids’ dresses and best boys’ suits, and opted to pair them with lovely neutral flowers in classic white and cream with beautiful blush and nude tones, and lush green foliage. Delightful.

So today’s moodboard is for you gals and any other brides considering this chic and timeless look for your special day. It feels light and fresh at any time of year, and there’s so much flower choice. I’d go for pink tinged Hydrangea and Astilbe, nude Quicksand roses, white Astrantia and Andromeda, with grey green Dusty Miller. I’d pair this with nude lips and nails (isn’t Opi Mimosa the perfect shade?), and a gorgeous up do with a soft front plait. Romantic and simple.
